Food Handler Classes

Online

To complete the food handler safety course online, go to www.statefoodsafety.com and take the Missouri, Cass County online course for $25.00.  Upon passing the course, bring in a copy of the State Food Safety Certificate and photo ID to obtain a food handler card.

A short ten question post-exam must be successfully passed in person before the card will be issued.

Food Handler cards are printed Monday-Friday except for County holidays.
Hours are 8:00 am-noon, 1:00-4:30 pm.

Note: The certificate issued upon course completion is valid for 30 days from the date the test was completed. During this period, the certificate serves as a valid food handler’s card, but the course will need to be retaken if the certificate is allowed to expire.
