Jeff Fletcher
Jeff Fletcher began his service as Cass County’s North Commissioner for District 2 on January 1, 2025. Prior to this role, Jeff served as the Cass County Clerk for six years, where he and his staff ensured accurate and efficient elections, working tirelessly to protect the voting rights of all Cass County residents. Jeff takes great pride in his work for Cass County and looks forward to continuing his dedication to constituents as North Commissioner. Jeff is a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having served for eight years, including four years aboard the USS Boston (SSN-703) submarine. After his military service, he spent many years as a Union taper and painter, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and problem-solving. A resident of Cass County for over 30 years, Jeff has been deeply involved in the community. He has served the City of Belton as a City Councilman, a liaison for the Parks and Recreation Board, and a member of the Planning and Zoning Board. He is
also actively engaged with all five Chambers of Commerce in Cass County and currently serves on the board of the Belton Chamber of Commerce. Jeff is a devoted family man who lives in Belton with his wife, Karen, and stepsister, Nicky. Their grandsons also reside in Cass County. Jeff and Karen previously owned Fletcher’s Forms, a business located on Main Street in downtown Belton. Together, they remain committed to supporting the local community. Jeff is known for his budget-minded and conservative approach to spending, He is a reliable leader who values collaboration, problem-solving, and a commonsense approach. He plans to maintain a strong presence in the office, working closely with elected officials, department heads, and county employees. Jeff is committed to treating staff with respect and maintaining an open-door policy, fostering a culture of approachability and trust. As North Commissioner, Jeff is focused on earning the trust of Cass County residents and providing thoughtful, effective leadership.
